New-comers to the Bahamas will soon realize that the Bahama Islands are many unique destinations.  There are 23 inhabited islands and over two thousand unpopulated keys.  The islands run the spectrum from cosmopolitan Nassau, the capital, to many islands with small colorful villages amongst beautiful beaches and royal palm trees.  Calm waters and cool trade-winds has earned the Bahamas an international reputation for sailing. With regattas held year round, it is one of the best places to sail in the world.
